Who are we?
June Isherwood, Founder and Director
June set up Collins Green HR in 2007 having gained wide-ranging experience in the private, public and third sectors, including textile manufacturing, the NHS, a charity providing horticultural opportunities for less able people, ASDA, Nirex (radioactive waste management) and NOMS (Prison Service).
She has also had responsibilities outside of HR including leadership of a high performing team delivering strategic and day to day IT, facilities management, regulated security, supply chain management, and legal services. She has also been involved in implementing and working within ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
June has led the work to provide HR support to over 15 businesses based in this country and in Europe and which are involved in construction and interiors, horticulture, digital (advertising and financial), health, environment, education, manufacturing and automotive sectors, to name but a few.
June holds a degree from the University of Bath and is a member of the CIPD. She is also a qualified NLP Practitioner and uses this knowledge and skills extensively in her work with businesses, and individuals.
June has a reputation for integrity in all her work, for being approachable, pragmatic and adaptable and for bringing warmth, energy and laughter into relationships with clients and colleagues.
We are privileged to work with a network of associates who specialise in, amongst other things, the design and delivery of management training programmes, and in one to one coaching which can be career, personal or work focused. All our associates have held senior HR positions in organisations and have expertise in working with business owners, leaders, teams and individuals in a variety of settings.
Hilary set up her coaching business in 2004 and now focuses on career and transition coaching, working both one-to-one and with groups and teams. Her mission is to help others navigate change, whether they are changing career, leading others through change or managing a major workplace or personal transition. Hilary also works with the Whitehall & Industry Group (WIG), where she is Programme Director of the highly respected WIG Leadership Programme. She facilitates a range of other seminars and workshops for WIG, working with organisations as diverse as HM Treasury, Rolls-Royce plc, Save the Children, Financial Services Authority and Accenture.
Hilary is a Certified Coach, having completed the ICF-accredited European NLP Coaching Programme. She is a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), a Licensed Firework Career Coach and a qualified MBTI practitioner. She has a postgraduate diploma in Personnel Management, is a Member of the International Coach Federation and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Hilary abides by the Codes of Ethics of these professional bodies.
Her personal style is warm, friendly and informal. She is business-focused, using powerful and challenging questions to help clients progress towards their goals, yet always with “a light touch”.
